Last summer was the second time me and my fiancé visited Paris, but it was more beautiful than I remembered. Time was short, but I was able to do some sketches and although they all are pretty rough, still they give a good springboard to complete them afterwards using my imagination. This one is made of the building next to our hotel. It had such a lovely view...

These are some color tests I made for the upcoming project at school, called Metamorphosis. I'm pretty anxious how it's going to turn out, since it has to be done in 4 weeks and I was silly enough to choose something I'm not sure I'll be able to make well in such a short time. But I hope for the best.

Alice in Wonderland is one of my all time favourites and not so long ago I found the English version of the book on the shelf at home. Actually, it's half English half Russian, but still it's very enjoyable :) There are some excellent illustrations in it, the one of the mock turtle is my favourite, I'm definitely gonna paint it sometime.
