I've been doing a lot of colorful pieces at work lately so this week while I'm taking a break from work I'm also having a break from colors. Feels nice :)

Mimic!

Here are a few pages from the pitch bible of Mimic, which was my BA diploma project. Réka and I wrote 12 stories and then I painted concepts for some of them. In the last picture you can see 3D characters combined with a 2D background, this is pretty close to what we originally imagined. We've been working on this thing for quite a while now and got to know and love these characters and their world even more. Nothing's for sure yet, we still have a lot to do but we hope it's gonna be made someday.

We made it

Well that was it... Yesterday was our final presentation and thesis defence, school days are over (at least for now). It all went well, I'm very happy that I'm graduating with honors and get my degree in a few weeks. I'm officially allowed to relax now! :)

Lace back

This girl was sitting in front of me during the Tangled presentation on FMX and had the lovliest dress. Funny thing that it was such a great week, I came home filled with inspiration, and her dress is the first thing I paint.

Louis

I finished the second character, Jean Pierre now has his buddy, Louis. So now it's time to make as much concept art as possible for Mimic, to have a nice pitch bible by the time of our graduation in June.
