Christmas gift

I love Brittney Lee's paper sculptures, they're so inspiring that I had to try to make one! Eversince I was a child I adored the Graham Johnstone sisters beautiful illustrations. My favourite was the one of Mrs. Darling from Peter Pan looking out the window. This paper work was my Christmas gift for my mom inspired by that illustration. It still needs to be framed though.

  1. Wow! Crafty! I love how the curtains and her hair and her dress stick out. And the rope. I'd have thought you'd lose that 3D aspect taking a photograph. Anyhow, that thing is precious! I wonder, is it possible for a male like me to be so crafty and make precious things while being masculine? Maybe I ought to be a lumberjack and raise log cabins from the earth and create oak mantelpieces. Or I could sculpt awesome Greek mythological creatures and gods. Maybe easier said than done. I guess I've still got some years to grab some skills. Better make the best of it, like you.
